Hogs were doing the same to my feeders in south Texas, I put'em 10 ft up and it doesn't happen anymore but bring a ladder to refill for sure.

A bear pulled my sons tripod down and destroyed it. Then it destroyed his trail camera. I had no idea the power a small Florida black bear has. I'm not a good judge of bear weight, but it was well under 200 lbs. He got pictures of the "vandal" also. I'll see if he will send them to me.
