I know a hand full here see my rambling on Face Book and know about the " Girls ". I haven't said anything here about them and with Father's Day tomorrow, just thought I would.

I have 2 kids of my own, Kelsi, 23 , lives in TN and is married to a Marine deployed to Afghanistan right now. And Zach, 21, Lives a couple miles North of me and has been my hunting partner since he started walking.

My wife, Karla, never had any Kids and about a year and a half ago, talked to me about adopting. We had discussed this before and we agreed to go thru the steps and see about maybe getting a pair of older siblings.

Long story short, this past January she got a call asking if we would be interested in 3 sisters, one almost 5 and twins, 4. Now I am 54. We had talked about kids from 8 up thru 14 or so, mostly thinking to have them out of High School before I turned 70.  After talking about it we decided to go ahead.

After the required visits at the foster home, weekend visits here, 2 weeks for Spring Break here, a court visit, they were officially placed with us Good Friday. Things have been going well and sometime in November, they will be " official " Buff's.

left to right, Kirsten, Karrissa and Kaitlynn

Wrangler butts ( Kelsi took this when she was here Spring Break )

They had been in state care for half of their lives and everything they do is new and an adventure. Karrissa loves horses and dogs, and tells me daily she want to go hunting with me.

The twins were not quite as forward about animals, being spooked easily by the dogs and cats,  but Kirsten told me a while back that my BMC pup, ZZ was her dog. You can see any of them outside with their hand on her collar walking all over the yard or thru the house. And ZZ thinks they belong to her as well.

Happy Fathers Day guys.

Awesome stuff there Bobby, you are making a huge difference in someones life! My wife was adopted and I am so thankful that her parents were the ones that raised her. My hats off to you man! I became a father about 5 weeks ago and it is a great thing, it's definitely changed and is changing my life.
