SURELY SOMEONE CAN USE "JIM"...Okay guys, here ya go. Two sides to this post. We bought this BMC from a guy in Tyler, TX, one month ago. It is the second dog we have bought from him, both were listed on this site. This is what he told us..... YBMC, 5 yrs old and is from Cattle Creek Ranch in east TX. He is a big dog @ 55 lb or so. A medium range dog that makes 400-500 yd loops and checks back in. He can find his own hog and has found many. He is scarred up pretty good. Had a infected toe from a hog bite and a deep cut on the right side of his face when we got him. We have only taken him huntin' twice. They don't get many opportunies to prove themselves around our place. ("
Somebody" doesn't have much patience.) This is what we have seen him do. He is a short-medium range dog. More short than medium. He hunted out well the first trip, even with the infected toe. Not much action that day. He and another dog struck at about the same time so it was too close to call. He defintiely honored the bay and was there every step. Second ttime out he stayed close. It got up to about 95 degrees by mid to late morning so it was a short hunt without a bay. He is a very well mannered dog and handles easily. May very well make someone a great dog, but he has got to go. Too many to feed as it is. We just want what we gave for him. $850.00 No pictures yet, but can take some.
