9 so far, one came dead. 8 live and wiggling , 6 males and 2 females. She looks like she is still trying. I'll post some pics after supper.

Six dog pups and three gyp pups. They appear healthy and strong. The pic of the males is a little blurry because they were in high gear. I think they smelled the hog shoulder in the freezer .  males  females  |

I thought she was finished. She was laying content with pups nursing or sleeping and not licking herself. But, she just had anothe male pup for a running total of 7 and 3.

Trenton, I know you are talking about the pup on the very bottom of the picture. I just came from looking at the pups while Petra was out of the way and that pup is not in the pile. There is ten pups here and ten in that pic, but there is no pup with out a mask. It has to be an optical illusion caused by the flash.   |
