We went on a hunt the other morning and caught pictures of some wild stuff here they are. These dogs stayed bayed on this hog for over an hour before we got there they got off the garmin but the wildlife picked them up.!

We found a bunch of these snakes all balled up under some rocks!

This was some EEL we found crossing some dry ground really nest never seen them do this they had no problem getting where they were going!

This little gyp ran a hog from early that morning until 2 pm got it stopped and caught and got here to some warter i guess it was 100 degrees like the lung of this little dog.

No sir I only crossed Ellie with Bigo's Bear dog once. I only have a male pup left out of that litter the rest died! He will bay a hog but just trying to give him some time to come on and make a dog!
This liittle gyp is really tight linebreed over my dogs maybe to tight but she has a brother that is pretty nice too.

Haha! I almost didn't recognize him Matt! Those straws are a nice shade but I guess they don't work out to good for cowboy helmets.  Cheesy

Great pictures Chance.

I think that eel is an American eel. They are born in salt water and then migrate to fresh water when they are small. Females migrate very far up the mouths of rivers, while males stay around the coast. Toward the end of their lives, they migrate to salt water again to mate and lay eggs. Once they are done mating and laying eggs, they die.

I don't think it is a far stretch (although probably not ordinary by any means) for one to travel like that. Most dams on large Texas rivers are required to have "eel ladders" to facilitate the migration up and down river for American eels.

Awesome photo, possibly a once in a lifetime pic. Nice yella dogs too, I miss the wards!

Cheers
