Air Boat Hog Hunting

Went out huntin hogs in an airboat for the first time last friday.I've caught alot of hogs alot of different ways,but this was awesome.We would spot them then run them down with the boat then throw the catch dog out on them.We caught 3 toothy boars and 3 nice sows.We cut the boars and turned the piggy sows go.I wish I had brought my camera but pictures were taken and if I get some I'll post them later.

Steve, you didn't jump on the back of any of 'em did ya!! Last time I remember seeing you you was riding the back of a big boar with me on one back leg, Mike on the other and Tusky trying to stick him! Glad to hear your doing good man.

Marty as a matter of fact I did end up on the back of a big sow.I thought I was going to have to bulldog one off the airboat.It was an exciting hunt.We did get one dog killed because I let the catch dog go as a big boar was running into a cane break and he caught the hind leg and the boar was cutting everything that was trying to get to his ears.He cut the throat to one and all our stichin and stop bleed didn't work,but unfortunatly thats part of it.We punished him by cuttin and markin him.

Say, you gonna hit the forrest this year? Maybe we ought to have another get together over there Mike and Sean. It'd sure be fun to have another get together like that.

KP if life got any better I couldn't stand it.I just got me a great job where I have plenty time to hunt and make great money.That hunt was awesome.I finally found something that was faster than me gettin to the hogs,An Airboat.Hope we can all get together again sometime.We had some good times at those bdo hunts.At least we could all stand around a fire enjoy a few hundred adult beverages.

Yep...I miss those hunts!  I'm not shape now like I was back then...I think the days of me hunting the DC Nat'l Forest are over.  I like going on ATV now.

Knee's are still bothering me. I don't think that will be changing anytime soon. I'll just strap on my braces and hang on to your belt bud! I was thinking about bringing my mountain bike and riding the trails in there till we get a bay and then bailing off into the brush with ya'll. This time I should have my younguns with me to help with the dirty work. They each got good knives and have been itching to do some sticking.
