Per everyone's suggestion, I decided to watch Lonesome Dove. I'm not certain why, but I really like Duvall's mustache. I get the same thoughts when I watch Tombstone. It must a fascination with that way of life or something. Anyway, I'm one of those guys that just can't grow a good beard or mustache (I'm in my 30's). I've tried, but that's exactly what it looks like. That I am trying. Post your mugs with some of your better beard & mustache combos, just mustache, and just beard. I'm curious to see what some of y'all can grow. Also list how long it took you to grow, and if your women was mad when you shaved it.

I've wore a beard for the last few years. Started fire school and had to shave it off but I kept the stash so I didn't have a baby face. That was the first time I hadn't had hair on my chin in three years. I got my beard back now tho. Beard  Stash  |

lol cutter...... I was just telling my wife about cutting my goatee and doing the cowboy stache. she said what ever i do leave hair over my lip, she said i have chicken lips?  wtf is that. This was after watching the dove... (thanks dinah)  I have always liked the old west but I just cant break out the razor yet.. |

I dont have any decent pics but I have to wear a goatee and mustache because the rest is too spotty. Last time I shaved I scared myself and that was in '86.
But I always liked Dish's mustache in Lonesome Dove, but Duval had that 2 finger rub down pat on his.

I'm 28. Usually wear a goatee. But its thin. I don't really grow hair on my face or head either.

I didn't let a razor touch my face a month or two. I loved it.  Now this is me and my daughter. Check the sideburns out, and that's my thing. I grew em one time and let them meet my mustache and truly looked like Joe Dirt. I got lots of stares in Wal-mart over that . My deal is it's only hair so you can always shave it off if it turns out to ugly. I think next I'ma try the Dish mustache.  |

lol i was gonna pick on you the other night it looked like u were growing a stache when i was 12 i had one like that and my dad said rub some milk on it and let a cat lick it off. |
