Any one use them?  Know the heavy duty welder wire ones from tsc are good but have small doors just wandering on these

Well y I ask I can go with them or the more expensive ones yes I know you get what you pay for but if the cheaper ones work why pay more.  All the reviews were good but want input from real people and most on here are what I call real people lol.

I just bought four of them. I am pleased with them for the price. I know I could not build them for what I paid for them. And in your climate they should last many years.

Get you some Priefert kennels.  They're galvanized metal that is also powder coated.

Man can't afford prefert just looked at prices and they are two and a half times the price of the doc and almost double the heavy duty ones.  My delima is do I go with 2 10x10 and 6 5x10 with the heavy duty ones or go with 10 5x10 with the doc brand.  If I go with doc every kennel will be spperate and 2 pieces of fence between dogs if I go the heavy way only one but it is 4 gauge wire vs 8 with doc.   I really stink at decisions

I have one 10*10  Behlan kennel , comparable to Priefert in my opinion, that is outside in the elements. Then the four doc bob kennels inside the barn. I believe the priefert and behlen kennels are better made, but I think when comparing the cost of them vs doc bob, the doc bob win.  Now if money wasn't an object, I would have used galvanized schedule 40 pipe and 4 ga panel..

If you play your cards right, you can get the 5*10 at tsc for $270.00, and additional fronts for $90.00 each.

I bought 1 from tsc and they work good, but the dogs can still breed. I found that out the hard way.

Negotiating...

Here is what worked for me. I went to Lowes and they had some kennels for $369.00, so I pulled up the tsc website and showed them the tsc price of $329.99. I asked Lowes to match plus 10% which is their standard matching deal. That brought the Lowes kennels to $300.00. I then called tsc and asked them to match what Lowes would do. They agreed to $300.00 for the kennels. Then I took a 10% off coupon, which is fairly common for tsc to issue. Ending up at $270.00 each.

Well im not sure how it was possible either and since im in afghany land, i didnt see it with my own eyes, but my said her bags are full and she looks like a bloated beached whale. i aint never considered myself smart, but iv seen them sysmptoms before, and after 62 days, a bunch of 4 legged yappin things start popping out. i did have a litter born that was conceived through a cattle pannel, but like u, wouldnt have thought of the 2x4 wife allowing it to happen.

Anybody used a top on these to keep the climbers in?

On my 10x10 outside kennel, I ran a treated 4x4x10 across the top of the front, then attached it with pipe clamps.   Then I took a 2x4x10 across the top of the back, and attached it with clamps. I then attached R-Panel sheets to the wood.  I have a 10' span, there is not any bowing, the water drains fine, it created shade, and the dogs cannot climb out.  This setup survived Hurricane Ike, so I am gonna say the design it worked...

lol, great mind!!  Hope you remembered to get the tax exemption for rasing registered breeding stock cow dogs,,,,,,lol  I dont remember but i think hog dogs are not allowed a tax expemption due to recreational use but cow dogs are, so if they could be used for both its not a lie.

The TSC manager and I had a "discussion" when they rang up with tax on the kennels. I "farm use" everything I buy from TSC, Lowes, Home Depot, etc....    However, the way TSC has the tax status coded in their computer on the dog related items, it rings up tax, and they either can't or won't bypass it.    I ended up paying tax on the kennels.   I'll just address it when I file my 1040.
