those are some good looking dogs. I like the mommas frosty mouth, those with the frosty mouth seem to work better for me Grin

I like them too, that moms dog "jewel".   Most of those Crockett dogs come that way, at least the ones I've had did. Jewel is just the right size and build that I like.

usually the best mtn curs I had were frosty mouthed and gritty.

I sure like that dark brindle female , they got a real houndy voice ? An are they rough dogs or just bay ? An how bout there range an cold nosed or hot ? I been wanting a plott just haven't seen one I couldn't live with out yet haha ever tryed any on coons ??

They are chop mouth for the most part. They have good nose on them, this line is pretty rough. And they will will go as far as what they are chasing, ton of bottom. As far as range, just depends on individual dog, but you can bout bet on long range. I do run them on coons, just to get them started on bear.

I heard from some old timers that frosty mouths are proof of old plott breeding, it must have some truth as all the good dogs I have seen have all had some frosty mouths to them.
