I was doing my normal walk/ hunt with mutts today and a fellow hunter showed up about the time i was walking off and he walked with me. Well we get back to one corner of my property and he said i hear bees, me being hard of hearing i could not. We looked around and found a hive about 15-20 feet off the ground and right beside my trail. the hive is about as big around as a bowling ball and had a swarm flying around it. I wonder how many times i have just walked right by it?? Anyway do you guys have any idea how to get rid of them safely? I have been thinking of a 12 gauge from inside the closed cab tractor at NIGHT. but figure they may just be pissed and rebuild Huh? what yall think?

Soap and water. If you do it at night remember they fly to the light so do not have a light on you or your tractor. Guess how fast I can jump off a tractor with flood lights at night.

Had one at the house under ground. Filled two 20oz bottles with gas and turned them up with the open end in the holes they use. No fire needed no bees. I raked leaves ontop of the hive and lit them and they didnt die... the bottled gas did the trick. Do it at night when they are less active

There are bee removal people all over and they will come out and contain them and relocate them.  Seems like it is a job for the professionals.
