Oh my I'm going to get laughed at but here we go.
1 1/2 ridgeback mixed with anything.  Heat tolerance and great handle
2. Lacy smart as a dog can be and personality to rival a 10 year old
3. Mtn cur just like them
4. Dogo/ab or dogo/pit.  good handle not full pit
5 good old mixed up brindle dog.  I'm a sucker for brindles.

Yes the dogs I currently use the most are #3-Jagds.  The first two are my favorite, but require more time and money to raise, and still might be culls.
The reason:
1-Florida cur- dog peddlars make it a crap shoot to find a real one from south Florida.  All my contacts down there are dead or retired.
2-Bulldog X English pointer- because not just any AB or any EP will do for the cross to be good.

Both 1 and 2 take longer to mature and there will be culls.

1. Florida cur- Heat tolerant, independant, easy to handle, trainable, find, bay, catch all in one package
2. Bulldog X English pointer- hard hunters that can go far and wide to find and catch
3. Jagds- they hunt hard, range way out, very low culls, start early, have good noses, cheap to feed
4. Pit or Bulldog X cur-  tough catchy, with a decent handle
5. Pit- but only a select few.  I like one that be calm until it's time, and can be trusted off leash.

Well ur gonna get alot of diff .o2s on this thats for sure!

1. Plott/cur cross

2. Good hard hunting 2 to 400 yard YBMC

3. Straight  plott hound silent on track  hunt 4 to 600 out with lots of bottom.

4. Good lacy color dnt mean jack #2 to me! Personal .02 good medium range dog plenty of grit and smarts to handle what ever hog it faces.

5. Cant beat a good APBT. But i have seen a few APBT/DOGO that is maken me wanna try the cross.

All these dogs needs to be able to shut a hog down with plenty of good ole grit and brains. Not looken for long races. I like for my dogs  to stop hog asap if we jump one at 200 yards out i want it stopped by 225 and bayed solid. Not looken for a dog that will bite and back out thats un called for pressue if a dogs gonna get a bite he better hold on or be stoppen a running hog. I like 3 good dogs on the ground that will spin a hog like a top. I like for all my dogs to honor a strike, when  one dog strike i want them to be flien to it.
