Whats the word on great danes.

I've seen some pure danes and some good ones.  I wouldn't say that they were common though.  They can be a bit soft and the ones I have seen do not handle a lot of work that well.  Some hunt very well though and have good noses. 

IMO they seem to get sore feet easily.  Again in my opinion though you don't need them 1/2 pit.  1/4 is enough.  I think the guy that is breeding dane pointer bulldog crosses is onto something and may secretly even be an Aussie!!!LOL

I really admire the bull arab dogs but prefer the dane over the greyhound.

some would disagree but I think the greyhounds have better prey drive when crossed, also faster and better feet in my opinion

I will definitely keep that in mind for future breedings. Do u think 1/4 pointer is good for dane/bulldog crosses?

1/2 dane 1/4 bulldog 1/4 pointer should be fine....but don't just take my word for it....

keep an eye on the aussie pig dog sites particularly ozziedoggers..wealth of knowledge there
