|
anybody got any truck A/C experience, its hot as blue blazes.
ill turn it on and it will blow and then it wont blow at all, then it starts blowin again, i already got freon for it but i cant figure out why it wont keep running, any help?

I have a friend and his pickup does something similar. His will work fine when you first start it. But after a bit it will just stop blowing. He's never had it looked into tho.

it sounds like a loose wire somewhere or maybe a relay going out...when it goes off, if you can just lightly wiggle wires in the back of the fuse block and around the unit under your dash if not there then go under the hood and check wiring in the same way...it sounds electronic...hope it isn't the compressor overheating

well started at the fuse box, went ahead and just put a new one in, the old was was well old lookin
then went and checked the connection at the unit itself, its fine too
but its still doin it so ill check the compressor next i guess

reach up under the dash on the passenger side where the fan motor is and wiggle the wires mine does the same thing

if its blowin cold air,i had a truk that the ac unit itself was freezing itself getting to cold

no its not cold, very hot thats wehy i got freon, now i turn it on and its slow to blow then it speeds up

I would just have it charged. If its low on freon it will cycle like that.
