Never thought I would be excited about the prospect of a tropical storm.

BRING IT ON

Mr Ronnie,
Cody and Jo Lynne are in from Lubbock at the end of the week. You feel like meeting up somewhere for lunch somewhere in your part of the country? We can get Ruby picked up, and we need to pick your brain about your nurse cow. Going to pick up a 3 y/o Jersey this weekend.

You see that white line?  It is just as likely to take that line as it is any of those others.....

Ill take all the rain we can handle but I pray we don't see another Ike at least for the next 25 years  Grin

I definitely dont want another Ike but I REALLY don't want another Allison! The house that Amanda and I own in Rosharon almost flooded a couple years back when we had eleven inches in 14 hours and my retard neighbor just brought 20 loads of dirt!!!! If he floods our rent house im going to do my best to own his! Angry
sorry, touchy subject  Grin

Bring on the rain!

Well it seems now they are already crawfishing, they feel like it is going to go in about Corpus which will screw the cotton farmers royally and they dont expect us to get very much if any rain out of this in my area.  Yet again hot and dry, temps will be in the triple digits all next week again.  All we can do now is hope to not lose anymore trees till fall and hope that something gives in the cooler months.

We have needed rain for well over a year now. Now, here comes this storm right when the few crop that did survive the drought are ready for harvest and some of the hay fields that have recieved a few inches here and there are ready to bale. I know we need the rain but dang it sure picked a heck of a time to get here.
