For you guys that make your own cut collars or rivet on your own name tag, what kind of rivets and rivet tools do you use?

Here are the rivets
http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/home/11280-006.aspx

Here is the tool to set them, youll also need some side cutters to cut the excess off before rounding it off
http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/home/8110-302.aspx

Youll probably need one of these too if you don't already have one.

I use the 2 piece rivits for the name plates and just a big pair of vise grips to install them, gradually adjusting them till completley flat. Never had a problem at all. If I was building my own cut collars Id use some heavy duty brads like a saddle shop uses.

I ordered my nametags through www.gundogsupply.com and they sent a bunch of rivets to install them with my order. I just headed up a small shaft nail and burned a hole through my collar and hammered the rivet together. Works perfect.
