 The wife says she looks too skinny, I told her I thought she looked athletic. What do you guys think? Plus, I thought I would show her off a little bit. She is my first strike/bay dog. Kinda proud of her!! |

Looks like a good hunting weight to me, if you start hunting the piss out of her you may need to bump up the feed but looking good for a conditioned dog that's hunting, congratulations on the first hog dog good luck.

Thanks guys. I got her from a guy in Comanche, OK as a well started hood dog. She jsut turned 3. She bayed pigs for me by herself 5 out of the first 6 times I hunted her. She is very fast and if I wanted to be picky, could be a little grittier but not sure about that because I'm still learning a lot. Other than that, I love her to death. I have laid her up due to the heat right now but I am about to go crazy to get her out. She is BMC.

They say you should be able to see 2-3 back ribs when a dog is in using shape. I count three. She looks great dude.

You have, in my opinion, a near perfect built dog for a strike dog. That's a dang fine looking dog bud,....and she's in great shape to hunt. Good luck with her.
