I have noticed different folks have certain quirks about various genetic markers which they find to be especially cull worthy.
(Of course I mean to humanely neuter and place in a "forever home")  Wink

For me personally, red mange earns a dog an immediate cull tag.

what are some of the genetic maladies or predispositions that draw your ire and can you back these irritants with science or historical observations?

I have read, heard and seen that dogs with red mange produce pups who grow to have red mange and i fooled with it long enough to know there won't be a repeat performance on my yard. How's bout yall?

Hip or joint faults especially in the rear quarters. (Hindering extended travelling)
Human aggression (Handler or children)
Genetic skin disorders (As above)
Extreme shyness (Cant catch them being handler)

x2...and excessive dominant behavior (a pet peeve of mine), not enough hunt, me too dogs get replaced ASAP...as soon as a pup steps up and is showing potential.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
