I called dan about 6 yrs ago regarding a STARTED bmc gyp.....STARTED! asking price was $800.00. Either he is extremely fond of his dogs or they really are that good.
His 3 dvds are still my favourite in my collection though and his dog pack is what i like to see in a set of dogs,I have heard he hunts a LOT of high fence so it would be fair to say his dogs get a lot of exopsure in a controlled area over a short amount of time,they look like hunting machines in my opinion.
That what he started out at on the dog I got, he said he had a good started one for $1500, I had to pass on that. I got the dog for a little less than the $800 but still high dollar for a started dog.
