Responsible Pet Owners Alliance has opposed Breed Specific Legislation for
20 years -- ever since we organized and remain ever vigilant. This link
allows comments below the article regarding dog breed bans.

However the article is inaccurate to state that "Justin's Law" was proposed
in Texas last session but did not pass. Texas has a law prohibiting Breed
Specific Legislation as do some other states.
"Justin's Law" was never a bill and was not filed by any legislator during
the recent session of our Texas Legislature although one local attorney
received lots of publicity statewide with her attempts. RPOA knows of one
legislator who even owns a so-called "pitbull" himself. "Pit Bull" is not a
breed and you cannot regulate what can't be identified.

no.......

certain breeders and certain dog owners need to be banned from owning these so called breeds that are in constant peril of getting banned...The irresponsible dog owners that give the responsible owners a bad name...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
