45 long colt should work fine on hogs. Heard bad things happening when firing hot loads in the judge though.

I own a ruger blackhawk, winchester trapper, colt anaconda and the judge all in 45lc. You can shoot them anywhere. I've knocked down a bunch.I recommend the first two if you want to shoot the hot stuff but the other two will do it as well.

I ve got a uberti, havent looked real hard for different ammo. most what see are  like the more primitive looking cowboy loads. The cowboy loads dont seem real accurate to me.  I did buy some of those lever revolutions the other day they looked to be of higher quality, Then most of what I see. My pistol is like a Colt replica. Im not sure how hot a round you can shoot out of it though.

I do not think you are supposed to shoot hot stuff through it the uberti just cowboy action but check.
