I all in on the black diamond icon, damn good light. I've hunted for years and taken many people out with me who all end up buying one. I get mine off of amazon.com. Around $60. Like he said, don't get the rechargeable, just keep extra batteries with you.

I bought a princton tec pro I think its called, I like it so far 200 lumen 4 different settings and its bright as heck when you need it. I paid almost $80 for it, then seen this from Huskemaw optics, supposed to be 600 lumen around $60 http://www.longrangestore.com/product_p/10012002.htm

We carry the Princeton Tec Corona
Price: $59.95
Black and grey Lexan housing with adjustable head strap. Water resistant. 8 ultra bright white, shock resistant, virtually unbreakable wide angle LED's. LED life of up to 10,000+ hours. Burn time of 30-70 hours. Select between 4 brightness levels (8,5,3, or 1 LED). Once the number of LED's has been selected, the user can dim or flash the chosen LED's. Selecting the dim mode will produce 40 to 50 percent of the maximum light from high mode, but will use as little as 25-30 percent of battery power as the same number of LED's on high. Uses 3 AA batteries (included). Works with both alkaline and lithium batteries.
