I worked a deal with him to get 3 pure CC Kelso chicks in that order.  I was able to get a trio. I was super excited as he got his directly from Loyce back in the day. He's been breeding and working them for around 20 years.  My partner found out, and asked if he could keep the trio on his yard. I hated to release them, but Philip is like my daughter's grandpa. It was the right thing to do. Unfortunitly, his son's dog killed the stag, then 2 days later both pullets. I was sick, as the breeder typically does not let these leave pure.  It hurt to hear the news.

i would have felt sick too. i have no knowledge of chickens or gamefowl, i know my grandfather had a all white rooster that was meaner than a junkyard dog. mean to the point that when i started on the farm at 6 i was called the "bait man" and i was deemed the sucker to let the rooster chase me around the yard so the other guys can get the eggs from the chicken house. this thing lived to be a good age but got caught up with one of his RIR that he bred and i think the red killed it
