Ok, Cutter Bay asked me to post some pics of my bathroom udate project. Let me warn yall, the before pics are bad.

I started on mon. and this is what I had done by this morning. I still need to replace our vanity and shower enclosure but Im off to a pretty good start. This has also been a very humbling project. I found out that Im no carpenter and I believe that crown molding is pure evil! Thank goodness for corner blocks.  Grin Oh, and the reason that Im showing pics of the upper half of the room is because Im still working on baseboards.  Sad

Before....

AFTER!!! Grin

I agree. I just need some high tech tools. I did everything with a skill saw, and a hammer.  Cheesy Which was funny because I hit my thumb more than the nails. I want to get a nail gun. They make it look so easy on the HGTV shows.

Very nice DJ. James is going to wonder what you did wrong to put that much effort into making it right. My money says he runs out and checks on his dogs.

Thanks everyone.

Josh, I sent James the before pics. Where I had already pulled the old trim down and cleared the room out. He replied...." Oh sheet!!! Please put it back before I get home! "   Cheesy

Looks great.

Looks even better knowing that you used a skil saw and hammer.

Well Dinah, having done that kind of work for years when I was a younger man, I know exactly what it entails and from what I see in your pics.......you've done an outstanding job, even for an experienced carpenter....James is going to be happy I'm sure. I agree with you about the brad nailer....a wonderful little device. Be proud of your accomplishment and keep up the good work,.....heck....soon somebody will be wanting to hire you to renovate their bathroom for them, so figure up what you charge per hour. Grin
