We got on a fiesty bo hog the other night with stickers and he got my bulldgs lip ripped and face cut up pretty good. Im giving him 2cc pcn but last night he cried and cried from the pain, so today I went out and gave gim 1 tsp of childrens tylenol..did I mess up or is there anything else I can do to help him out? Huh?

i wouldn't give tylenal cause of liver damage 1 baby bayer is the rite does for dogs . you can also get you some hell cain't remember now what is it  D M S liniment or something like that .and rub it on his face . i'd look real good and make shure it ain't no real damage inside his head though

anyne know what a vet bill would run..i know the office visit is 50 bucks..Im just wondering if I can ask for a prescription without the fulll examination fees Undecided

give him 2cc of dex the first day and 1cc for the next two days, will take the swelling out and relieve the pain alot

1/2 asprin per 10 hours thats all you can do for him unless you get soem stuff from the vet

jacob i doubt a vet will just get you anything without knowing you first .the next thing you need to do before hunting is to find you a hog dog friendly vet . i just moved last year and the first thing i did was start looking for a new vet . repore wjth a vet is a must have item for hog hunters i suggest you locate you a good one before next hunt . because you are going to need one if you are putting your dogs in harms way  not jumping on you just get with the program and a vet is part of it .

Dex is Dexamethasone, but I use rymadil. You should just be abe to call your vet and go pick it up.
