he needs 3 things to get started - a dog, a ride to the bayings, and entry fee money. If he already has a dog use it, no need to buy a dog for him to go a couple of times and not like it as much as he thinks he will. He does not have to enter the youth bay exclusively. Once he gets to a baying just pick somebody with dogs out and talk to them. Most people will be more than willing to help you out.

Moffit cat is right don't go buying a bunch of dogs until you know your son is going to like it , also you have to watch for some ppl out there they will tell you they have a pen dog forsale and the dog may not be any better than what you have , but other than that just let him do it and have fun with it ,

Where are you guys located? We are starting a new baypen in Corsicana TX. I might have a young baypen prospect  around here that I may be willing to give your son. Give us a call. We are always willing to help the youth. 469-297-0215 Mark and Heather Green.

EVERY PEN YOU GO TO HAS DIFFRENT RULES THERE IS SOME AROUND HERE WHEN U ASK ABOUT THIER  RULES THEY JUST LOOK AT YOU LIKE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT , BUT MOST OF YOUR GOOD BAYING HAS RULES YOU JUST NEED TO ASK FOR THEM , REALLY THEY SHOULD POST THEM.
