I thought about trying to put on a hunt here soon. I am in east texas 100 miles east of dallas in sulphur springs. I was thinkin $200 a team 4 members per team. thought about donating some of the money to the church an paying out like 90% to the most weight brought in . An the biggest hog takes all the hogs. In that case of course all hogs must be caught alive an brought in that way. No dead hogs count. What do yall think an would anyone be interested?? The money doesnt have to go to the church but id like to donate some of it to something.

i may need a partner. motly said he would also help out. i will b n that area for bout 6wks, and like i mentioned to motly, im bringn 3 dogs. a 3yo bitch, a pup outa last yrs litter n a 2yo outa her first litter 2 yrs ago. aint gota place yet to keep'm though, gotta call a couple friends that live in the new boston area n c if i can lv them there.

i really been thinkin hard on it an really wanna do it. Heck even if we jus get 10 teams to enter that would be some decent money for 24 hours of hunting. Still jus need to dcide on a date

Ok fellas got a place we can meet to pay entry fee an then weigh in the hogs. Workin on getting the scale but i will have one. The dates are set Nov 18 19 20 hope to get atleast ten teams.

I'd love to be in , but I'm 5 + hrs away so I'd be a long way to go , me and my buddy where thinking bout doing a similar tournament in late Jan . Here in south central Texas , let me kno how it goes so u can have a ismdea if you dint mind, and ge best of luck to the teams that enter I already can't wait to see the pics . And the donating part , Brother you can never go wring with that helping a good cause is very good thing and keeps a god name for us!!

Thanks gtown. Hopefully yoyr hunt turns out well too an ill be sure to try an get alot of pics for everyone. I thnk.ive decided to donate it to blue santa. Dunno if th whole stae does that or not but its for kids who have less of a chance of grtting much for christmas. Hope it turns out good too.
