want to know how hard oklahoma dep. of ag is on captive hogs game book says u got to have a license to transport or have them ina pen any body had any problems. I am just finishing a 6 acre woods pen and dont want any fines., or attention any input would be nice.not much of a typer so be easy on penmanship please. marklynch@centurytel.net

My buddy has one right on the road and the game warden drives by all the time and never says anything just stops and looks at them.

Hey man, I know a guy up in my area that has a fenced hunting pen and he told me it's not a deal at all to get the permit. I think he said the game dept sends sombody out to look at your pen, and I'm not 100% sure about that, anyway you just fill out a form and pay a fee, don't know how much but it's not a lot, and that's it. That deal was put in to placate the farmers in SW Ok to make them feel like the state was really trying to help and then there was no money to enforce the policy. Typical political BS. They can wrack you if they want to but most times they don't bother you if you're not famous for letting them get out, or there after you for another reason and they use the hogs to come in. Just call the wildlife dept and they can fix you up easy. Good luck.
