well boys and girls i know mr campbell and i promise you the show does not do his dogs justice and you are right most things on that show are set by a guy who probably has never been in the woods hunting in his or her life, but the campbells do have really fine dogs and they know there stuff when it come to hogs and how to hunt them, thumbs up from me and i will watch again

finally watched both episodes last night. Not sure what I think about it yet, seems like the characters go out of their way to throw in all these cheesy one-liners. some of em were kinda funny but it got old quick. a lot of it definitely seems staged. them hogs they caught all looked real young and skinny and like they didnt have alot of fight in em.  Think someone else mentioned it and I agree the tying and then shooting of the hog in the first episode was weird.  Also is the story that the family makes their living helping folks remove feral hogs? If so the old man needs to sell that old tracker maxima system and get himself a Garmin already.. its freaking 2011 I don't know of anyone who is still hunting with them old things. Especially if your going to be on TV... The show definitely has more entertainment value and better looking production.  Krystal doesnt look all that hot to me... they need to focus more on that friend of hers Lea she is the best part of the show so far.

It's 2011 but lots of folks are waiting for  more improvements on the garmin and I am one of them...old habits are hard to die... Grin

Crystal looks good in front of the camera and the old mans character fits in with the show as well as his one liners...

I like hunting dogs and outdoor scenes and this show is way better than the other hog hunting show. The dogs they hunted besides the Rooster dog appeared to be culls but there must be a reason for it... Shocked

I am optimistic... and hope that the show gets better with time.

Finally got to watch the show. Hands down it was the best hog hunting show Ive ever seen. Mr. Campbell was entertaining and I like how they didn't over dramatize everything but kept it interesting. I think that Crystal and Lea did a good job representing women hog hunters. They managed to show several situations that Im sure most of us have experienced at least once. Like loosing a dog, getting a new dog that doesn't impress at first, the headaches of trying to get a young pack started, tying a hog and it getting loose. They seem to be nice people. I will be watching the show and enjoying it.  Smiley

I dont know much about much (and someone is bound to verify that), but it sure looked to me like ol Creager was not use to a vest.  Sure looked uncomfortable.....I have seen alot of dogs that would not move in a vest.  Would like to see what he could do without it.

I am also sure the editing doesnt always favor the dogs or the hunters.  TV could make the best hog hunters look bad with the proper editing.  And I will say this....its better than 90% of the other reality TV shows out there.

Its a good show but they are a little scary for my taste around those hogs. The only one that looks like they could make a hand is the friend Lea. That "brush" next to the golf coarse was sure giving them hell. Hope that was the cameras. Cheesy

I have enjoyed the show so far. But I do feel like the show  should be names "Lea and those other people" That girl is by far the highlight of the show. Thank goodness my wife know what my hunting buddies look like, cuz I dont think she would let me go hunting with something like that!!

thats funny!

If all the dogs were out of sight then what would they have to show show on tv? a bunch of people looking at GPS and making up lines explaining what the dogs where doing? Its all edited for TV for the non hunters, we have to give the reality TV people a break, I think its pretty entertaining and enjoy watching this show.

They are a bunch silly inserted sound effects of how the hogs "might look or sound when they "rooted" up the field the night before" but thats for all the non hunters to get an image of how it happens and how it could impact them, which I think is good for us hunters in general that the general public understands that we do have times when things do go wrong. We cant always just show up and the hogs surrender, it takes effort to get the hogs caught, and I think the show is portraying that in a positive image entertaining enough to keep people watching for the next episode.

I agree...

For you other guys who are talking up Lea...well she needs to put on about 15 pounds and Crystal is perfect... Kiss Smiley Wink

I like all the characters  in the reality show...good job on the producers part for setting up the plot...I hope this show keeps it interesting like the first 2 episodes because I would like to keep on watching it for seasons to come...

I always find it amusing when men find the littlest fault in a woman, especially one like Lea or Krystal.  I don't know about the rest of the men on here, but when I look in the mirror in the morning, I don't see Brad Pitt staring back at me.   Grin Grin

And from last nights show, when they caught that big black boar, the only dog NOT WEARING a vest was the catchdog?     just sayin'

But other than that, love the people, love the show.  2 thumbs up!

Yeah, watching Jerry and his lack of mobility makes me cringe.  He shows the impact of carrying too much weight into the late stages of life and how difficult it makes doing anything.  He is immobile.  He lacks balance.  He can't get out of his own way.

Yet, he doesn't want anyone doing anything he doesn't tell them to do.  He strikes me as more of a liability than an asset.

So there  ...  now the men have faults we address.
