Me and my bro in law and buddy bob, decided at about 12:00am to make a round. got to a cut corn field bout 12:30 dropped the dogs. they immediately rolled out to like 600 hundred yards. we waited and waited. nothing happened. they slowly began coming back. i let the garmin calibrate and realized that they were on the turn road directly i n front of me. so i just eased on up to where they were and they got busy hunting like the norm. couple hundred yards in front of the truck. it seemed like we road around for 3 hours, but finally they struck out down wind about 400 yards and went to baying solid. i realized i could drive about 200 yards closer so i did and cut the catch dogs loose.  i only got one solid catch dog right now and i got a gyp that up to this point has feld to impress me. she's had absolutely no interest in a hog. well to my suprise she blew out to the bay. when the garmin showed all dogs treed everything went to complete silence. i thought man dont tell me they were trashing. but every now and the my gyp lil ann would let a bark out. well got in and realized it was a decent boar. but most of all man i was so happy to she the gyp hazel locked down on a ear. very pleased. no dogs got hurt and we headed to the house to get some sleep. simple short hunt.  but lots of fun.

josh i did not breed him i would be lying to you if i told you for sure. i no he came from a guy out of port lavaca and seen one hog when i got him. other than that sorry. but good luck finding you one.

Yeah, but your scared of the rivers too. j/k man its just all my places i can hunt during deer season or most of them are right alongthe river and i try to go as late as possible to avoid running into hunters. we wil go eventually though. thanks wade and robert.
