Made a round with Gil the other night in the piney woods. 5 minutes after dropping the dogs they mugged this sow on the edge of some big palmettos. Her or the dogs never made a sound. The Garmin showed treed & we went to em. We got her loaded & eased down the gas line. They winded from the truck & caught the 2nd one. Levi relayed off that one & caught the 3rd one in a bad cypress swamp. It broke from him & he ran it about a mile & had it bayed in a ditch. We got her caught & called it a night. Not to bad for a 1 1/2 hour hunt. Plenty of sausage for the freezer  Dogs are Rip , Levi , and Ruby First sow  Three of em together.  |
