What does that mean?? x2 i would take it as only 4% of there pups dnt make the grade! either they have some bada$$ dogs that reproduce, or they dont set very high standards for there offspring.

I don't breed many dogs and I sure don't sell Many but the ones I sell do the job and I hold a higher standard than 90% of people and the 96% success rate on when I breed two of my dogs that's the percentage of the pups that make dogs It's not near that high when I stud my male out to breed to things I know nothing about and if you look on YouTube I got two 5 month old puppies baying in the woods from my past litter with Shaun Harvey and his gyp Lucy I spend alot of time with my dogs and hunt as much or more than anyone

I have a couple questions. You state on your website you've been using your current breed for 5 years, and that you have a 96% success rate on your pups meeting your expectations. Assuming you bred the male when he was one year old, that leaves four years for evaluating his prepotency. How many litters have you bred to determine this percentage?
Also you stated above that you sell very few dogs, yet the website appears very geared towards your business being that of one selling well bred dogs. Just a little confused.
If those are indeed true percentages, I'm very impressed especially considering none of your dogs are line bred being that they are all different breeds.

X2...saw it right away...not going to have 96 percent top hunting pups cross breeding with different breeds...but a good mtn cur can produce good pups in other breeds but not 96 percent...

Should you read my earlier comments i said i dont raise many pups and and the percectage is based only breeding my dogs not breeding to other peoples that i know nothing about so 96% success is not that big a feat and two of the dogs on my page are line breed so yea i do that to and Rusty is a very long range dog and very independent and id be glad to hunt with anyone if you got better ill shake your hand look you in the eye and say you have some outstanding dogs

96% success on ANY breeding IS a big feat. I did read your comments about not raising many pups, but just doing some quick math, the only way you could achieve a 96% success rate is to have raised at the very minimum 25 pups since one pup out of 25 = 4% (100 - 96 = 4, so 100 / 4 = 25). If you've truly had one cull out of 25 pups, then you must be doing something right or your standards are pretty low. I don't really care about how good anybodys individual dogs are, but when someone starts talking those high of reproductive percentages (especially breeding unrelated dogs) I tend to pay attention. Having a couple jam-up dogs doesn't much excite me, but someone with a program that is consistantly producing them does.

Maybe y'all are hog TALKERS and not hog HUNTERS y'all can't be huntin much from as much as y'all are on here but I respect y'all opinions y'all don't know me and I might be wrong but I believe if if y'all hunted with me or knew me very well you might change your opinions of me I'm the opposite of y'all I like to give people the benefit of doubt until they prove me other why but if one of y'all can come up with the pictures or videos of your dogs workin hogs in the woods I'll have alot more respect for yalls opinions until then y'all are just hog TALKERS to me not hog HUNTERS

There are lots of people on here that catch just as many and just as big hogs as you. No one is saying you don't have good dogs bc obviously you do catch a bunch of hogs. There are sOme dedicated dog men on here that are Smart and have been doing this alot longer than both of us.. I know people that have been lIne breeding the same line of Hog dogs for 30-40 years and still don't achieve rates near high ad the 96% you claim tO be with "crossbred dogs". That's awesome if you do have a 96% success rate but everyone with any type of hogdogging sense and know how wants you to prove/validate those numbers and not just pull a high number out of their a$$! Don't take offense to people questioning your numbers, just prove it.. How did you come up with the 96% success rate?? Put the numbers on here that you calculated to get that...

RR, alot of these guys may not know you, but you dont know them either.... some of these guys you are refering to as " hog TALKERS " actually know what they are "TALKING" about.... I also dont see how spending alittle bit of time on a website means you dont hunt much..... Smart phones still work in the woods!!!
