Today we bayed quite a few hogs today and killed a sow and caught two 20-30lb shoats.  Both of the shoats were male but one of them did not have testees Huh?  I even palpated the area thinking they might be drawn up because it was cold but there was nothing.  No one hunts here besides us and certainly not anyone that bars hogs, we don't barr hogs, not to mention there was not a scar.  Only thing I can think of is that he was born without testees......a natural barrow. He slipped out of my hands while I was tying him so if the coyotes don't get him hopefully I will run into him in a few years and see what he turned into Wink  PS.  Guess which River this is?  You might be suprised.

Im gonna guess Brazos, though it looks more like the Navasota.  Getting devastatingly dry.....

You guys who know me had an unfair advantage, Its the Brazos.  Or whats left of it.  There are spots you can Walk across with 18 inch rubber boots and not get your feet wet, and about half of the river you can wade across about waist deep.  The first picture If it were at a normal level I would be 3/4 of the way across the water.  Its about 3 foot lower than I have ever seen it.  The Navasota is a tributary to the Brazos and only runs about a third of the water that the Brazos does, and the water in the Brazos usually is'nt that clear.

Yeah the Navasota looks like a small creek in some places right now and with no real rain forcasted, will probably get worse before it gets better.  I bet a man could walk along there and find some catfish in those deep holes though  Wink
