Heard from an inspector that all hogs must go through inspection to donate or sale.  It's been a law I know but now they are going to enforce it.  So the halletsville contest going to still be the same.  Field dressed or alive?

You have heard correctly, field dressed feral hogs can not be donated this year like we have done in the past.

TDHA contest will be live catch this year, more information coming soon. First weekend in March is the date.

Thanks,

Not that I care, but won't that be kinda difficult for the bay and shoot division?

as a meat processor I know of ways to still fielddress and pass inspection but they will have to know what they are doing and save the guts for inspection
it is legal this way but kinda up to the inspector also depends how much of a *** he\she wants to be
