If there are any cowboys that ride in ranch rodes there will be one that I put on in cleveland there will be $5000, buckles top hand and top horse breast collars given away events will be steer brandig steer mugging wild cow millking with real wild cows and wild hog hauling april 11 2009 must call in entry #281 659 5973

yes I know him he is a friend of mine and usally rides with me but I can't ride in this wish I could thats alot of money and kirk is a nut they don't breed them that way alot lol

Yes sir you got that right!!! Our 4 year old son goes with us when conditions permit and he's a brave soul. Give him a flashlight and he'll take off and leave you. LOL!!! This thread was a pretty cool read. It's funny that the two of you know each other, just from somewhere else. Good luck with the ranch rodeo, Cward. I much prefer ranch rodeos to mainstream rodeo any day. I think it much more speaks of our heritage. Kudos to you for helping to keep it alive.

Been there, done that! Had my colt in the woods with no withers and two hogs to drag out. Chris drug one on his horse, and since my witherless colt couldn't drag one, we just hoisted the thing up onto the saddle. Our hogs were dead and it was enough of a riot with the close to unbroke colt. I can't imagine getting him to carry out a live hog!

this ranch rodeo is in cleveland tx on hwy 59 north of houston south of lufkin the hog hauling all four team members start at one end of the arena on horses run to the other end get in the pin catch there hog tie its feet through him on a horse and when all 4 team members are back across the line time will stop

I know all the guys from nacogdches livestock I work lots of cattle and catch lots to but I don't rope much I ride in ranch rodeos will go rope at a bennifit ropping ever now and then but I just give my money away .in the pasture most of my cows are looking at me when I rope them I feed good dogs they can't run to far lol

We do a rooster race in some of ours similar to Your wild hog race. It usually gets pretty interesting! WE will have to come out to one of yalls RRs. How often do you have them? |
