In another post someone spoke of protecting the garmin collars,  using firehose or pvc to cover them.  Does anyone do this, does it help?  if so please explain, and post picts! Are their any other methods?

I have a guy here in Hawaii that had dipped his whole reciever box in some type of hard plastic type wax.  Once hardened, it was nearly undestructable.  I'll get with him and ask, I think the only trouble he had was that it was not practical to change in and out to charge.

Pigdogsupplies.com also has covers you can check them out.
