i was huntin on a guys ranch the other day with my dog JR , JR is as good as you can get . we had caught probly 7 or 8 big hogs that day.  well i see a plane circling the ranch and land over on a dirt strip , i was hunting with the ranch foreman and he said that was the ranch owner.

so we drive over to meet the ranch owner and i was telling him about JR and the hogs we had caught. he asked if JR could catch Rhino's  i said he will catch anything i tell him to catch. he pushed a button on the dash of that plane and down came a ramp door, he said get in and we will go catch us a rhino.
so i rode my horse up in that plane and told my dog to get in, up went the ramp and away we went. the next thing i know we are landing in Africa, there are rhinos everywhere.
JR takes in after the one with the longest horn i ever seen. i took to him on my horse thinking im might have to rope this sucker to help out my dog.

JR caught that sucker by the ear and that rhino never slowed down so i went to head him on my horse ,that rhino made a dive at me as i went behind a big tree, that rhino ran that big horn all the way thru that tree. i looked down on the ground and there was a big ole nut.  i twisted that nut on that rhinos horn and he was a had lad,   so i thought that rhino pulled that tree out of the ground and went to whooping my dog with it, i built a loop and  jerked 2 legs out from under that rhino and saved my dogs life. he went 2500# on the scales

Matt,

I think Craig might have dipped into a certain someone's stash. Grin

Good story though, I was trying to picture what horse Craig might be riding, and if he was riding the saddle Luke made.

That ain't nothing.

My dogs are so good, that they only catch boars and more specifically only one's weighing in excess of 79.38kg.  They'll run through the woods bypassing shoats, sows and smaller boars without making a peep until the alpha boar is located at which time he is immediately lugged.  I might also add, that they each do this alone without the help of another dog.  They are also trained to follow spotlight beams which makes hunting them at night the absolute most productive way to hunt.  If they cast out 25 yards or so, and run across an area appearing to be overly saturated with hog scent...we'll lets just say they consider that a no-brainer and will simply come back and load up and we will proceed to an area containing much less hog scent therefore presenting them with much more of a challenge.  I hunted them with Bump's jagds once, and now they picked up a nasty habit of eating about every other hog they catch before we even make it to them.  The benefit to this is that I can feed them much less than I did before.  The downfall is they seem to pick up intestinal worms way more frequently which leads me to my question.  Is it okay to give my dogs Ivomec?

Well I guess you can say I had a little bob tail brindle cur dog that would catch every coon in this county. Got to where I could set a hide stretcher out on the porch no matter what size it was and ol'bob would go catch me a coon that was the right size for the stretcher. Well I guess its been bout three weeks now. Ma set her ironing board out on the porch an we aint seen ol'bob since.

Well fella, ya'll got my old mutt beat. My old gator mouf pit with the two rows of teefesses, the one that I give half a tube of zymectrin gold once a month, can only catch and skin 460lb boars. If it is anything bigger than that he just bays. I've seen him bay twice. If it is smaller he won't even go to the bay. The last hunt I took him on we got on one of those elusive 460 pounders and he caught it, drug it out, and skinned it by himself. I think the two rows of teefesses help him do the skinning. Evil
