Condensed version of a long story I just went and picked up a "pit" from a lady who's fallen on hard times and what was described on the phone didnt exactly line up with what's now begging for my burger on the way to the kennels.  I'll post pics later so everyone can have a good laugh at my expense, but she reminds me off the main character from the movie "Precious" |

She ain't big like some of you are thinking, she probably weighs 60 pounds or so but she's got an English bulldog body. Looks like a blue pit English cross to me. I'll definitely put her to work if she's got it in her, as well as getting rid of all the excess fat, BUT, its just amazing to me what people refer to as pit bulls. She looks like the only dog she could roll are the Oscar Mayer variety. |

LOL Yeah I'd say hippo. Actually a pretty good lookin' dog. Shorter legged then I like but with a lil work out regiment I think she'd be a heck of a dog. |

You know they make a little thing called a name plate and it cost about the same as the sharpie you colored your name on that collar with... |

True, but my phone number is written big enough with the sharpie on hunters orange that it can be seen and clearly read thru a rifle scope. Ny name is on it bold as well so the poachers around me know who the return fire will be coming from  Name plates can come off, but what I have to the other collars is used a soldering iron and melted my phone number and name into them. |
