Don't know really, I guess tush hog sounds better than tusk hog. But like you I heard it from the old timers.

Thanks again for taking us out Waylon! We had a great time and it was a pleasure watching your dogs work. I'll be running quite a bit in North Idaho and if you can get out this way it would be fun to try to find a lion or bear for you. Talk to you soon!
