Our Jagdterriers on a wild boar this weekend. I slowed the video down at the end because you couldn't see anything but flinging. We ended up catching nine hogs in two days. Unfortunately, I had a hard time working the GoPro. Next time I will get some good footage.......

I've never worried about it. I know a guy in Utah that hunts coyotes with them. He puts them down the den to drag out the coyotes. He seems to think they are easier for the jagd to kill than a fox.

How do you mount the go pros to the dogs? I've thought about getting one and running on my dogs but don't know how I'd mount it. I can only come up with putting it on their back but worried they'd get hung up on a fence

I just got scrap leather from hobby lobby and cut about a 3" strip. I mounted the camera to the bottom of it. It works pretty good. The thing I like is I can always see what the dog was running - even if they don't get it to stop.

I BOUGHT A GOPRO AND PUT ON MY CATCH DOGS BACK.  THE FIRST TIME HE RAN INTO THE WOODS A VINE OR SOMETHING BROKE THE MOUNTING BRACKET.   NEEDLESS TO SAY I LOST MY CAMERA IN THE WOODS.

I think they are worth it. It is fun watching and gives you an idea of what is happening before you get there, or if the hog breaks before the catch dog gets there.

I figured out one of my dogs was getting too catchy to quick. Also, one time I also saw my jagds running a bobcat. Otherwise I would have never even known what they were doing.

I just watched it and a PETA ad came on before the show started.  Crazy.

I can guarantee you that either of the 2 males that i had would kill a yote without a doubt in my mind, at 7mths old 1 of mine caught n killed a boar coon at my lease in newton.....he was a bit clawed up but nothing bad.

That is funny. I am sure PETA appreciates that. I built a thick leather collar from stuff scap leather and just zip tied the base on. I used the cheapest GoPro. I can't remember what edition it is.

I don't doubt your jagds are rough. They are a gritty little breed! That is why I love them. They will always hunt.
