I was just interested in what kind of feedback I could get on training a couple of dogos pups. I have a pair five months old and have never trained a catch dog and want to give them the best I can any
Tips you guys got would be appreciated Thanks

let them age, dont give them to much work time at a young age, best thing to do is work on obidience and condition them to hunt, let them go on hunts and witness what goes on
good luck, oh and dont send them to me if they dont work... i have no need for a unicorn

At that age let them be pups. I do not start working my DOGO pups till they are 9 mths old and do not expect them to turn on till a year to a yr and a half. There are exceptions to this, but in my experiance with the breed most dogos do not turn on till they are close to or a bit over a year old.

What about regripping ? Anything a guy should do at a training stage to help prevent

rope on a tree with some pig hide on it always worked for me, once they learn the drop is what hurts they wont regrip  |
