well you have to travel, the work is easy enough, but the pay isn't bad...i work with some m. loggers but that is all i can tell you...

Im a mud engineer. But I work around mud loggers. I think the hardest part of that job is just having to stay out there. I don't know how all of them are but everyone I've seen stays out there from the curve to td without rotating.

Not much physical labor, some companies rotate out some work 24hours on 24 off usually make around $15 an hour. I work on the drilling side never done any logging, looks like It's an ok job.
