RIP DIXIE AND REDDOG

Took the dogs out yesterday for a run and caught two loaded them up and the dogs rolled and bayed a bad boar hog 400+ the race begun with baying and breaking this was for about ten minutes and heard a yelp and a pig squeal checked the gps of my cousins and they were bayed 900 yards out and circling.. The gps reception went blank so the foot race through the pine thicket to assist our partners started back we get within 50 yards and the hog brakes we ran back to the truck to get a hop on a dirt road where they were headed. 2 hours later the race quit Dixie trailed this hog for 4 miles with REDDOG only a couples yards behind. The hog got outta town and we finally tried calling the dogs off.. It was dark around this time and we decided to rely on someone to return the dogs, we left shirts out for them to come back to and we would pick them up this morning at the drop off spot. Woke up this morning to a phone call saying they were found but no longer would be working with our crew. This is a terrible loss not only to my cousin and I but as well as everyone else that hunted behind these dogs they loved hunting and would stop hogs in there tracks time and time again! This boars day coming to an end soon!!!! *RIP DIXIE AND REDOG*
