I decided to make what I thought would be a short round last night after being asked to come out and hunt a local golf course that gets pounded regularly by the local doggers. I was not expecting much but dont need much of an excuse to get in the woods right now. The dogs found a nice barr hog that ran a little over a mile before he bayed. He scaled out at 260. While I was tieing the barr, the dogs rolled out and found a runner. My two young dog finally finished him after over 9 hours. I cought him at the crack of down this morning. He only scaled at 130 but I was sure happy the dogs finished him. I had a slow start with hog hunting this winter after months of missed time with work and deer season but the dogs are tuning up nice. My Pogo is even catching like a real catch dog now. He handled both hogs like a champ. Utilizing resources!  Blake and Brandon. Id still be dragging him out of that hell hole if it wasnt for these two! Sure would be nice if one would actually bay up on the course!  Enough cutters to do some real damage.  A speacial treat! My Grandaughter came by with her momma to see me off for the hunt before her bed time! Talk about a cutie!  |

Yeah they are acting like their daddy for sure. Half borthers Sired out of Chance Wards dog Ike. I will get some recent pictures of them up soon. |

Wish I could have seen that happen! Better than a double shot expresso in the morning! haha! That barr had a sure enough attitude and was pissed. He chased me off that place while I was in my truck! At least it wil get made in to sausage now! |

Very nice Ninja. Finishing one of those runners is as good as it gets. You're dogs learned a lot more from that hunt than 10 drop and catch 250 # boar hog hunts. Congrats all the way around. |

Sure was. One is out of a cross that Chance and Lloyd Perry made. I think I broke a record getting to Clevland when Chance called and told me to come and get him. |

Well I'm sure glad them pups are getting good. Tbob has a gyp I gave him out of Ike that's doing OK also. Ike is for sure producing pups that are better than him that's for sure. I think I'm going to send tbob another daughter of Ike. She is going good but just only used her on cows she's ready for hogs. Glad to see you catching hogs.
