Some dogs just prefer lemonade. Try any brand of house training spray. Spray around the water on the ground and the bucket...not the water.works 75%of the time. Even had one that would chit in it.

Once a male dog pisses in his water bowl, he won't drink out of it or he drinks just enough to stay alive. If you have a male dog that stays drawed up looking and he's wormed good, he's pissing in his water bowl.
Take a bucket and put inside an old tire. He'll cock his leg to piss and hit the tire. I've had alot of dogs do this.

Yeah that's what it is. If you leave his water for a few days you can go dump it out and you'll smell the piss in it. It's one of the fastest ways to draw a male dog up. Put a bucket inside the that tire and look at the tire every time you walk by and you'll see where he's pissing on the tire. I could never catch mine in the act, but sure enough the tire told on em.

Another sign is when you do water the dog, he acts like he's been dying of thirst, but his water bucket never has alot of water drunk out of it. He's drinking the water as soon as you put it in front of em and then turning around and pissing in it and won't drink no more til you give him fresh water, that's why he acts like he's dying of thirst. Dang aggravating male dogs.

I got a dog that does the same thing. I noticed the same thing about him being drawed up, never figured it was him not drinking his piss water. I raised the bucket higher then he can piss. I was thinking of putting one of those lickers in his kennel

Hang your water bucket by a wire off the ground. Make it too high for him to pee in and the problem is solved.

I'd help him and piss in it yourself when you go to feed.
