Over the weekend we caught 7 boars straight while free-casting. Never bayed a single sow as far as we know. To my knowledge, this is my personal record for consecutive BOAR catches. To not bay a sow or barr between any boars is strange for me. What is your consecutive streak for a run of boar hogs? It can be over the course of a year for all I care. I'm just curious as to how many boars in a row. In advance, thanks for sharing.  |

The last hog I caught before this weekend's trip was a boar. So my record for consecutive boars is 8 and counting.

We caught eleven Barr's in one day. There was about 20 in the group. The smallest was 180 lbs the biggest was 280 they would rally and we would try a cut one out of a time. Were we were hunting there was a man you would pen choates and Barr them and feed them all together then turn them loose on 11000 acres. We could have caught more but we only had one catch dog and He was done after number 11. I had to call the cur dogs off.

I never been organized enough to remember from one hunt to the next, but I do know me and critters caught boars one day a few months back. I believe jhefern and me got nothing but boars for around a month solid once but have no clue how many.

Six in a row last month, 4 in a row one day then two later made it six consecutive. I have never really thought about it, but I know last year I caught more boars than anything if I remember correctly. Haven't been huntin much lately, but hopefully I can make it 7 in a row next time I get in the woods.
