Last week my brindle dog Tex got a small cut on his back leg. Well when the hog broke he only ran about 600 yrds and quit which he usually does if he gets cut at all, so I didn't think anything of it. But, the next day he wasn't using his back legs at all. He just drags them and walks with just his front legs. When i brought him home the night he got cut he unloaded out of the truck fine and walked into his kennel. It wasn't until the next morning that he started doing this. At first, I thought he has no feeling in them because he didn't wine at all when I would doctor his cut, but starting yesterday he didn't like me messing with the cut at all. Has anyone ever had this happen and if so what was the results? Also, he is eating fine.

Sounds to me like you've got some type of nerve issue going on. Could be a direct result of the injury, or could be caused by infection. Pinch him between his toes on a rear foot and see if he'll pull the foot away from you.
Either way, I'd get the dog to a vet.

Thanks for the replies. He still hasn't gotten any better after a week so i'm going to be taking him to the vet on Monday. Hopefully they can tell me something.
