i've done it before an caught hogs ... just sucks an is hard to hear but if you gotta garmin it makes life easy

I have caught hogs in the rain but it is very hard especially without a really experienced dog because often the scent will wash away quickly making it hard for the dogs to run the track just my thoughts on it
