figured id ask on here and somebody could help me out or point me in the right direction, i promised my girlffriend i would buy her a corgi when she graduates college in may, she wants a small lap dog and i dont do the whole designer dog thing and if i feed a dog its gna hve a purpose and came to a compromise on a corgi something useful we can use when penning cows or working yearlings and someting small she can keep inside when we get married i tried talking her into one of either my cur dogs pups or one of her dads stock dog pups but she wouldnt have said she has been raised around cur dogs her whole life and wants a small dog so if any of you know of somebody who breeds corgis for production and not profit any input would be greatly appreciated

Finding a working corgi is gonna be tuff to many breeders are going toward show type and getting away from working dogs.

That is true. But we have one he is registered but he's just a dog to me. He will bay cows, horses, and rooter hogs. This little sucker bays a hog tight. He is rough and quick. Talk her in to a BlueHealer they just as stupid and a whloe lot cheaper.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
