Had another good birthday in the woods today! Me, Ryan, Jeff and Joe made a run at one my places where the hogs have been known to run and today was no exception. Jumped em right off the bat and after 4 miles of walking ended up catching two good sows. Fred and Pistol had the first one bayed for nearly an hour before we could get there with Jane. Ryan and Jeff had to swim across the creek to get to them while me and Joe waited for them to get done and get Jane back across to us so we could go to Zig who was bayed by himself on the second sow 700 yards further for just as long. We get Jane back across the creek and me and Joe make the walk and go catch another good sow but not without a swim. LOL Didn't get any pics of the first sow but got a few of the second. Good Bday hunt! Me, Zig and Jane Joe and Jane Zig and Pistol

Well, I do have to change a few things brother... LOL! I checked the garmin after we got back waiting to be picked up, and we had done 7.8 miles. So far from 4... LOL! I had a great time man! Happy bday, and hope to have another good hunt next weekend! Pistol is one helluva dog, and esspecially for not even being a year old yet. Here is a video of Jeffrey and I swiming across and getting to that sow that Fred and Pistol had bayed up. (Zig was not there... LOL!) Turn the volume up and you can hear the water take our breaths. It was a great hunt, and felt good to finally conqure that place! And that was no dang creek... it was 35' across and hell to climb up the bank with one arm!!! LOL! Not to toot our horns or nothing, but we are blessed to have a great pack of hard working dogs! They live for this stuff! And I like this pic too! F-B (Jane, Pistol, Zig, Joe, and Fred)

Jeffrey got that to have around as a spare vest... and sure enough, Jane's was left at home, and that was used. You just never know out there... LOL! Looks good....

But it has kevlar on the underside and the brest plate. It is from BassPro, but isn't very thick. I would work great for bay dogs.

Its real light and has strips of foam on the inside that would help while in water. I'm waiting to see how it's gonna hold up looks like briars mite shred it up. I remember it being around 50-60$. Blake doesn't like my vest lol but I do so far.

Looks good.... lol is it a duck huntin vest then? if not it looks bad-A an i'd like to have one lol Its a Redhead delux neoprene rubber cut vest. It's 5mm thick w floatation foam and a Kevlar chest and stomach gard. It's for briars, thorns and barbwire n it's very light weight. It is for duck hunting, but works well for what we need. It's def better than nothing! It won't stop a cutter but itl sure cushion a hard hit. I googled bass pro and they r 39.99$ No it's a Redhead Kevlar cut vest from bass pro.
