Check out all of the grown ready to try hog dog prospects in the petfind link, i searched cats leps lacys bmc hounds and there must be 200 different dogs within my area codes in pounds, you sure save time and money for $70 each even if you had to buy a truck load to cull them outlol wonder if you can take them back if they dont hunt and get another dog or do they have some they cant be adopted by hunting folks or whats the deal?? Lot os 2 3 4 year dogs that would do in a pinch, sometimes i found when the dog pound dog found a loving home where he had a meal and job they really hunted there butts off for you, of course some were just sat on a chain dog all there life and did not know what a cactus patch was or how to run at all but fired off after 10 or 15 times.

Why? You will more than likely go through 6-7 just to find one that MAY work. That is over $400. For a dog you know nothing about....open? silent? rough? loose? fight? You also would have to spend 2-3 months to access the potential of the dog. Let alone they will not let you have them if you mention hunting, sleeping outside, and they will go nuts if you mention a chain. I learned a long time ago if you try and go cheap on things....you ALWAYS pay more in the long run! I can make more money...but my time is priceless!

Dont know anybody that would waste 3 months finding out if a dog would run a hog or not down here, they know in 2 or 3 days!!! The cost of dog food to raise a dog to 2 years old is way below $70 adoption fee as well, so you got a 50/50 chance of a dog working out same as those $1000 pups you have to put $500 worth of feed into and shots and find out they like to suck the muffler on the truck or hang around in front of ya to trip yalol www pets something, can somebody remember the link, you will freak out if you see all of the adult hog and cow dog breeds they have online for almost free.
